The crash near Staheli Family Farm happened at 12:51 a.m. at the corner of George Washington Boulevard and Washington Fields Road, Lt. Kory Klotz with the Washington City Police Department said.

He was arrested for DUI and other charges,” Klotz said of the driver, who was uninjured.

Klotz added there was a small fire involving the car that was quickly doused by Washington City firefighters. It’s unclear how the fire started, Klotz said, other than it was the crash that led to the fire.

This report is based on information provided by law enforcement and may not contain the full scope of findings.
