ST. GEORGE —The Colorado City/Hildale City Police Department is seeking the public’s help to find a missing, endangered man last seen nearly a week ago.

Shane Lonnie Speirs, 49, was last seen by family members on March 13 when he left his home in Hildale, according to a statement released by the Colorado City-Hildale City Police Department Tuesday. 

Police believe  Speirs may be experiencing some type of mental health crisis and may require medical care. 

Spiers was last seen wearing a pink zip-up hoodie and dark-colored pants and had an Australian Shepherd mixed dog with him.

He left the home driving a gray 2012 Honda Pilot with Utah license plate V589YL, and the vehicle was towing a small enclosed utility trailer.

“We are worried about him and want to make sure he’s OK,” Colorado City/Hildale City Police Lt. Mark Gower told St. George News.

The police department provided photos of the Honda that Speirs was driving, along with a photo of a trailer similar to the one that was connected to the SUV when he drove away. 

Anyone with information regarding Speirs’ whereabouts is asked to call the Colorado City/Hildale City Police Department at 435-874- 2240 and reference case No. 24HP0425.
