ST. GEORGE — The bodies of two men reported missing in southeast Utah last month have been found and recovered by authorities, according to a press release from the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office.

William Drew Bull, 29, and Christopher Alan Owens, 28, both from the Blanding area, were publicly reported as missing over social media on March 10 when the sheriff’s office asked for the public’s aid in locating them. At that time they had been missing since late February.

In an ensuing press release issued Friday afternoon, it was announced the men were recently found dead.

Their families have since been notified and the investigation is ongoing, according to the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office.

No information on where the men were found or concerning a recent arrest connected to the disappearances was released.

The man arrested in connection with Bull and Owens’ disappearance was Charles Yoo, 35, who was charged with a second-degree felony for obstruction of justice. He was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at the home where the three men lived.

Yoo has since been additionally charged with two counts of first-degree felony murder, according to court documents.

“A mutual friend of both Bull and Owens had reported to law enforcement officials some concerning interactions he had had with Yoo during the days immediately after the two men had stopped using social media and cell phones to make contact with friends and family,” the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office stated in the March 10 press release.

Due to evidence collected at the home of the three men, interviews and other factors, the sheriff’s office said the initial missing persons investigation had become a homicide investigation.
